I LOVE all of Your Amazing Comments!

Just want to check in and let everyone know how much I appreciate the great comments I've been receiving! Darla wrote about her own ghostly experience, which I completely believe - how creepy was that? Like my character Cameryn, I veer between my scientific side and my mystic side. And funny enough, I adore watching Ghost Hunters and GHI, along with 20/20 (real cases are aways the most interesting) A Haunting, I Survived, Dead Men Talking, and Cold Case Files! I really am a mixed bag - real life cases of crime followed by stories that show the afterlife. I'm quite eclectic!

Did any other "Twilight" fans read Breaking Dawn? What did you think? I paid full price and devoured it in one night, and I was curious what other 'Twilighters' thought. (I've been a 'Team Edward' girl from the start!)

As to another posted comment, there will still be a lot of suspense between Cameryn and Justin, so fear not. But Kyle is truly a wildcard in this book. As I've told you before, my best friend was murdered by a serial killer named Robert Lloyd Sellers, who has since (thankfully) died in prison. But trying to understand the psychology of someone who is a true psychopath is very chilling process, because in their minds their world makes sense - they feel entitled to kill and then they have no remorse. I've actually had to put down books that I use in my research because I get so upset, especially in cases involving children. My nickname has always been 'mother-of-the-world' becasue I am such a passionate mom. A few months ago a girl who was having problems actually moved in with us for a month - I have a very 'open door' policy if somebody need s me. (Which is also how I get behind on deadlines - yikes!) Okay, enough of my ramblings, I have to wrap up The Dying Breath so you can find out what happens! Back to work for me!

Team EMMET?!? That's a new one for me! I really liked BD, too, especially when Bella 'turned' without going crazy. Wasn't in love with Edward's-teeth-ripping-through-the-uterus scene, but then again, I write about maggots on corpses! My only other compalint is the name Renessmee, which was only slightly worse than 'Nessie.' BUT I LOVED the romance and I thought SM hit it out of the park on the honeymoon, so I'll forget the name-thing! I've finally had Cameryn and Justin kiss, so I'm in this romance thing myself, but it's not nearly as intense as Edward/Bella/Jacob. Hope you like it!

I haven't read any of the Twilight books but I've heard they are good. I guess I'd better take a trip to the library.

Hey Alane,
My brother took a psychology class at his college. He loved it! And he said that it was very informing.

Team Edward? Pffft, Quil (in spite of the whole Claire thing) for the win! I've always been a Quil fan, always. XD

Justin and Cameryn KISS? FINALLY. I've been looking forward to that since he offered her tissues the first time they met. :D

Hey alane,
I can't find anything on this rober guy. I'm certainly not saying you're a liar but i just want to know more about savannah.

Pfft? You made me laugh out loud! I hadn't ever thought about Quil persay, but for me you just can't beat a guy who can play a piano and who crouches and growls to protect his woman. Total fantasy, btw. If you actually read Edward's words out loud and imagine any real guy saying them, you'll start giggling and never stop. But SM pulls it off, because Edward isn't a real guy at all. Pretty smart! And YES, Justin and Cameryn finally kiss and it's pretty intense, since Justin's been smoldering for Cammie for quite some time. But as I've said, Kyle is the spoiler - he considers Cammeryn the only other person who can 'understand' him. Can't say too much but we go into the mind of a crazy guy. Oh, one last thing - I was actually asked out by Ted Bundy, a notorious serial killer. (Another bullet I dodged - I've led a charmed life. Some estmate Bundy killed up to 100 women.) At the time I met him in 1974 I was a waitress (Ha - SERVER!) and he was my customer and he gave off the weirdest vibe. When I closed that night, I was the second-to-last person to leave, and I saw a Voltswagon Bug parked next to my car. So I went back and waited for the cook to walk me out, at which point the Bug was gone. (Bundy drove a Bug, for those of you who aren't familiar with him. He killed The one girl who survived (Carol DaRonch) was snatched right down the street where I worked about a week later. Bundy lived five miles from me. So maybe that's why I think about death so much from every angel - it could have been me, and it WAS my friend.

On a happier note, books let me escape to cool places, places where a vampire might fall for me and finally give me some rock-hard abs and glittery skin. Sounds like a deal!

One more quick comment for Anonymous who asked about my friend's death. You can go online to the Irvine World News Online Edition and type in the name Robert Lloyd Sellers. An aritcle from July 18, 2002 should come up, entitled LAX Gunman Was City's Latest Link to Infamous Crimes. Scroll down to page four, and it will lead you to SAVANNAH ANDERSON. That was my friend. It's hard to find material on her since she was killed in 1979, but in some ways it feels like it was a week ago. Very sad. I still miss her. I just did a check on this about a month ago because I got this uneasy feeling that Robert Lloyd Sellers wasn't really dead. Her parents called the prison and they TOLD Maxine and Al Sellers had died, but I never saw any documentation. I tried to do a search but everything seemed to cost money. Anyway, if there are any computer gurus out there who could chase this down, I would be very grateful. I think he died around 1995 but I'm not poistive.

Hey Alane,
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any recorded death of robert. Do you happen to know what state he died in? It would help alot.

i just saw the the website u gave us and thats a sin what happened to her if that ever happened to my friend i wouldnt know what to do im so sorry

Alane Ferguson said...

Thanks for saying that - it was a sin because she died on Mother's Day (she was an only child) and it wasn't quick. But I think the soul goes on, and that gives me comfort. Once I had a dream that I saw Savannah in a cafe, and I asked her about who killed her, and in my dream she said, "It doesn't matter anymore. Where I am now it just doesn't matter." It might have just been my subconscience, but it's given me comfort. I really believe I'll see her again!
